In-Game Purchases
New in Roflow 2.0.4.
Ask for a shop, a game pass or anything players buy with Robux, and Roflow builds it in your place. It never creates anything on Roblox by itself.
What Roflow builds
- A list of every item in a module named RoflowShop in ReplicatedStorage: its name, whether it is a game pass or a developer product, and its price in Robux.
- The shop screen and the buttons players tap.
- Server scripts that give players what they bought: game passes when they join and right after buying, developer products through Roblox's purchase receipts.
Until an item exists on Roblox, its id in RoflowShop is 0 and its button tells players it is coming soon.
Making items live
After a turn that adds items, Roflow lists exactly which ones do not exist on Roblox yet, for example:
- VIP: game pass, 100 Robux
- 50 Coins: developer product, 25 Robux
To make them live:
- Publish your place. See Publishing Your Game.
- In the Creator Hub, open the experience and go to Monetization.
- Create each game pass and developer product with the same name and price.
- Send Roflow their ids, for example "VIP is 123456789". Roflow writes them into RoflowShop, and the buttons start prompting purchases.
Creating the items for you, after you approve the list once, is planned. Until then, this last step is yours.
